Unfortunately, 2022 has started off with...mountains of work. It began piling up in the end of 2021, but once January came around everyone suddenly woke up and the pace became even more frenetic. Between long exhausting hours at work, watching a kid who refuses to sleep early, household chores and squeezing in precious moments of me time, it meant that writing has unfortunately taken a backseat. Heck, even Isabelle hasn't made an appearance since Christmas. Given a choice between 2.5 hours of thorough dehairing and makeup just to let Isabelle appear for a day and catching additional sleep, I'll take the latter thank you very much.
So I apologies to avid readers of my blog, sorry for the inactivity! Things should stabilise soon and I'll find some time to write more regularly. I've got a few ideas bouncing around in my head which is good news...just got to write them down when I'm less bleary eyed and not nursing a headache.
